MedaPhor pioneers its ultrasound education and training philosophy in the Gulf

Between the 18-20 April 2008, MedaPhor training faculty led by Nazar Amso held their first level 1 obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound course in Dubai city, UAE.

The 3 day course included core lectures and 2 days of practical training. The first training day adopted MedaPhor's Blended Ultrasound Training Environment with the use of web-based tutorials, mannequins and image/videos reviews whilst the second day was spent scanning patients in a local hospital.

Course feedback was excellent and delegates' pre and post practical training demonstrated significant difference in their core skills attainment. Future courses will be advertised locally.
